Whirlpool y Hisense Kelon, una de las empresas chinas líderes de electrodomésticos en su país, acaban de inaugurar una nueva fábrica en China, donde las dos compañías compartirán responsabilidades e inversión económica.

Después de formar una compañía conjunta en la zona de desarrollo económico de ChangXing, en Huzhou (provincia de Zhe Jiang) el pasado mes de abril, Whirlpool y la china Hisense Kelon han inaugurado una nueva fábrica que producirá frigoríficos de gama alta y lavadoras que no sólo se venderán en China, sino también en otros países.

Whirlpool y Hisense Kelon compartirán tecnología, investigación y recursos de desarrollo, permitiendo una sinergia entre las principales empresas de electrodomésticos dentro del mercado chino. Ambas empresa compartirán a partes iguales tanto las responsabilidades de dirección como la inversión económica.

En palabras de Jeff Fetting, presidente de Whirlpool Corporation, con este nuevo centro, Whirlpool aumenta su competitividad y su peso tanto en el mercado chino como en el resto del mundo.
