Whirlpool colabora para dar hogar a familias

Whirlpool y Sony Ericsson WTA Tour apoyan por sexto año consecutivo el proyecto de Habitat for Humanity, que en septiembre entregará seis nuevas casas a familias que se hallan en situación de desamparo.

La estrella mundial del tenis, Daniela Hantuchova, junto a las hermanas polacas Agnieszka Radwanska y Urszula Radwanska prestaron su apoyo al último proyecto de Habitat for Humanity en Varsovia, Polonia. Esta iniciativa concluirá en septiembre con la entrega de seis nuevas casas para seis familias que se hallan en situación de desamparo. Este  talentoso trío de tenistas han participado también en el desarrollo del programa Solamente Mujer; diseñado para formar y lanzar profesionalmente a mujeres.

Es el sexto año consecutivo en el que Whirlpool y Sony Ericsson WTA Tour han apoyado el proyecto de Habitat for Humanity, a través de diferentes actos para recaudar fondos. Desde que empezó su colaboración, las donaciones han ascendido a casi 500.000 euros y ya se han podido construir 100 casas a lo largo de Europa, beneficiando así a muchas familias necesitadas.

Cabe destacar el apoyo de las hermanas Radwanska (en la imagen), que han donado sus raquetas para una subasta cuyos beneficios irán al proyecto Casas sin Fronteras de Habitat for Humanity, en Polonia, dedicado a las personas con minusvalía. El programa ofrece micro-préstamos para contribuir a las mejoras y adaptaciones de los minusválidos en sus casas.
