La lavadora Aqualtis de Indesit Company ha ganado el VIII Premio Ecohitech 2006, premio otorgado por el Consorzio EcoQual´It bajo el mecenazgo del Ministerio Italiano de Medioambiente y la WWF.
El premio, el más importante en el campo de la ecología sobre bajos consumos energéticos, ha recaído en la lavadora Aqualtis como el mejor producto en la categoría de productos respetuosos con el medio ambiente.

Entre las características consideradas por el jurado del premio destaca su sistema SuperEco, que reduce el consumo de energía y agua hasta un 10%; y su función Carga Mini, que proporciona hasta un 25% de ahorro en agua y un 40% en energía.

El Premio Ecohitech 2006 llega poco después de otro brillante resultado obtenido por la lavadora Aqualtis: las cinco estrellas conseguidas en el prestigioso test australiano Australian Standard Tests en la categoría de Consumo de Agua en los electrodomésticos de nueva generación que concilian alta calidad del servicio con reducción de los niveles de consumo y compatibilidad medioambiental.
