Tino Stone recibe un premio a la investigación

La Universidad de Cádiz ha premiado a Tino Stone por su labor investigadora en torno a la piedra natural. La multinacional lleva más de tres años colaborando con la UCA en el desarrollo de tratamientos que mejoran el uso arquitectónico de este recurso.

El jurado de esta primera edición de los premios de investigación de la Universidad de Cádiz ha querido reconocer a Tino, única empresa premiada, por ser “un buen ejemplo del enorme potencial en materia de I+D+i alcanzable a través de la cooperación, del trabajo conjunto y del buen entendimiento Universidad-Empresa”.

Durante la recogida del premio, el presidente de Tino, Antonio Valdés, manifestó: “es un honor recibir un espaldarazo de esta universidad con la que tan estrechamente trabajamos desde hace más de tres años. En TINO Piedra Natural hacemos un gran esfuerzo científico con las distintas universidades en las que tenemos grupos de trabajo conjunto. Y nos produce mucha satisfacción el reconocimiento, que se añade a los múltiples beneficios que nuestra innovación aporta a la piedra natural como material para la construcción”.
