The perfect flow: Schock unveils new taps

Taps are among the real kitchen workhorses. Even when it’s not time to cook, they’re still in demand, regulating the flow for that quick glass of water, filling the watering can to revive the pot plants, providing the indispensable liquid to boil the spaghetti. Being in frequent use, they have to be tough, wear-resistant and comfortable to operate. Using them must be effortless and they must not waste one drop of precious water. Given Schock’s traditionally high standards of quality and innovation, the company’s taps naturally satisfy these requirements – and go one step further: they also meet the highest aesthetic demands and create a perfect sense of unity with the sinks from Schock – in urban, country or classic style to suit customers’ tastes.

Nine different taps spanning a broad spectrum are being added to Schock’s portfolio this autumn: The Altos and Conos are two new, premium taps manufactured in solid stainless steel. Both models are available with an optional pull-out spout. The Dion is a brand new, premium designer tap: in Cristadur it creates tone-in-tone harmony in the kitchen. The slimline version with a fixed spout is very much en vogue, sheathed in high-grade copper. Customers can choose to have all metal parts like the overflow, basket strainer and control knob for the pop-up waste supplied in a matching high-grade copper coating with selected Cristadur sink models. The result is a perfect couple, sink and tap in matching colours – destined to become the centrepiece of any premium kitchen.

The Fonos, Plutos, Pia and Napos add a number of entry-level taps to the product range. Available in chrome or Cristalite Plus colourways, they beautifully complement the colours and materials across Schock’s range of sinks. Two additional chrome models complete the ranks of the newcomers: the Mera and Gota, the latter boasting the curved lines and height to suit a generously dimensioned kitchen and also featuring a discreet pull-out spout.
