El Grupo Teka inauguró ayer en Santander un espacio que quiere convertirse en referente gastronómico, social y cultural en la ciudad: Teka Concept.

Santander ha sido la primera ciudad española escogida por Grupo Teka para llevar a cabo esta iniciativa que tiene previsto desarrollar en otras zonas del territorio nacional, como Barcelona y Madrid.

Este espacio, situado en el Paseo Pereda 35, pretende ser un referente en innovación a nivel nacional por lo que reunirá los avances más punteros de la compañía como los hornos con tecnología Teka Hydroclean, capaz de limpiar de manera rápida y ecológica, o el nuevo concepto de comunicación entre campana-encimera Sensory, que permite por medio de unos sofisticados infrarrojos el control total de la encimera de cocción desde el panel touch control integrado en la campana.

En la inauguración, el chef Francisco Jerez impartió una master class donde elaboró el plato “empanadilla de sardinas con tomate de Cantabria y queso de Las Garmillas”. Teka tiene previsto organizar durante los meses de mayo y junio varias jornadas de puertas abiertas donde se ofrecerá a los amantes de la gastronomía un taller práctico para aprender a elaborar un plato típico de la región.

El Vicepresidente de Grupo Teka, Arturo Baldasano, aprovechó la ocasión para recordar que resaltó que “la idea de escoger Santander es porque el Grupo tiene su central aquí, donde nació hace más de 50 años. En cuanto a nuestras cifras de facturación el 36% se concentra en el mercado español”.
