El fabricante de electrodomésticos Smeg ha sido reconocido a nivel internacional como una de las empresas italianas que más en cuenta tiene la sostenibilidad.

Con motivo del Día Mundial de la Tierra, que se celebra cda año el 22 de abril, el Instituto Alemán de Calidad ITQF en colaboración con el Instituto de Gestión e Investigación Económica IMWF de Hamburgo, publicó el resultado del Informe Las 200 mejores estrellas verdes de Italia – el ranking de las empresas más sostenibles, 2021, doscientas de las mejores empresas que han dedicado sus esfuerzos a mejorar su impacto ambiental y social.

Concretamente, Smeg encabeza la categoría de Bienes de consumo duraderos del informe Estrellas verdes – Sostenibilidad 2021; realizado por el Instituto ITQF en colaboración con el Instituto de Gestión e Investigación Económica de Hamburgo. Smeg ha sido reconocida como la empresa más comprometida con las estrategias de economía verde para un mejor impacto en el medio ambiente y la sociedad.

Para el fabricante italiano de electrodomésticos, este reconocimiento hace visible e impulsa aún más una cultura corporativa que siempre ha estado atenta tanto a la dimensión social del negocio, como al cuidado del medio ambiente.

Esta filosofía de empresa, junto con la cada vez mayor concienciación general sobre los problemas ambientales y sociales; ha llevado a Smeg a acelerar la integración de los valores de sostenibilidad dentro de la organización de la empresa. Con especial atención a los retos medioambientales vinculados a la lucha contra el cambio climático.

Sobre el informe

La encuesta, que según el Instituto ITQF representa la investigación más exhaustiva sobre reputación online en términos de sostenibilidad en Italia; utiliza un método totalmente innovador, el llamado «social listening», basado en más de un millón de fuentes online: dossiers , comentarios y notas de prensa.

Este reconocimiento confirma la atención que Smeg siempre ha dedicado a los temas de sostenibilidad social y ambiental. Asimismo, refuerza el compromiso adquirido con el bienestar de la comunidad.

El Informe publicado por ITQF representa una oportunidad para que la empresa dé a conocer sus actividades e iniciativas vinculadas a los objetivos de desarrollo sostenible.
