El Instituto Tecnológico AIDIMME ha creado Ergo 4.0, un nuevo sistema de gestión antropométrico para fabricar mobiliario de asiento personalizado, un método de identificación de confortabilidad con parámetros ergonómicos creado.

04.07.2019 La industria española de mobiliario dispone de un nuevo sistema de gestión para el control de las medidas antropométricas que permite, en la propia tienda, elegir el mobiliario de asiento que mejor se adapte a la estructura corporal del usuario, y a su vez, permite a la fábrica producirlo de manera personalizada en sus dimensiones si no cuenta en su catálogo con el producto demandado, a través del catálogo de producto previamente volcado en el sistema. Este es el resultado de la iniciativa Ergo 4.0, realizado por el Instituto Tecnológico Metalmecánico, Mueble, Madera, Embalaje, y Afines, AIDIMME, que durante dos años ha realizado una exhaustiva investigación de cómo las medidas corporales inciden en la sensación de confort a la hora de utilizar mobiliario de asiento, y qué parámetros son necesarios modificar para lograr un producto ergonómico y confortable para el usuario.

Se han llevado a cabo cerca de un millar de evaluaciones sobre la base inicial de 37 modelos de mobiliario de asiento, donde se han establecido criterios objetivos y subjetivos contestados a través de encuestas al usuario, que han aportado finalmente una clasificación de cinco rangos, identificados como incómodo, algo incómodo, cómodo, muy cómodo, y sumamente cómodo. El sistema se ha realizado gracias al proyecto de I+D Desarrollo de nuevos sistemas de personalización del mobiliario de asiento con un índice de confort optimizado para cada usuario, cofinanciado por el Instituto Valenciano de Competitividad Empresarial, IVACE, y el Fondo Europeo para el Desarrollo Regional, FEDER.

Asentar la Industria 4.0

La facilidad para fabricar productos personalizados en un proceso en serie en el ámbito del mueble se hace visible con la incorporación de las nuevas tecnologías y los habilitadores digitales a los procesos de la Industria 4.0, como puede ser la fabricación aditiva, que diseña e imprime un objeto con el perfil que requiera el usuario final, por ejemplo una silla, un taburete, o un sofá, en un proceso de horas, y con materiales incluso reciclados, apoyando la economía circular.

De este modo, el proyecto ha logrado un método válido de identificación de confortabilidad con parámetros ergonómicos, y traslada así sus resultados a la industria de mobiliario, ofreciendo una herramienta a los fabricantes para mejorar los actuales diseños por medio de la personalización de mobiliario de asiento con un índice de confort optimizado para cada usuario.
