Siemens participa con Solar Decathlon

La firma formó parte del prototipo de vivienda bioclimática autosuficiente Solar Decathlon 2007 en la IX edición del Salón Inmobiliario de Madrid, que se celebró entre el 29 de mayo y el 2 de junio.

<i>Confort máximo, coste energético mínimo<i>. Así se presentaba por primera vez en España en SIMA 2007  la Casa Solar, un proyecto de construcción sostenible diseñado por estudiantes de arquitectura de la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) que representará a España en el concurso Solar Decathlon, organizado por el Departamento de Energía de Estados Unidos.

                               

La Casa Solar ha sido concebida como un soporte sobre el que integrar múltiples tecnologías y sistemas de construcción industrial orientadas a optimizar la eficiencia energética. Su equipamiento incluye los siguientes
electrodomésticos de alta eficiencia de Siemens: frigorífico americano KA 58 NA 10 con clase de eficiencia energética A, lavadora WM 10 E 020 EE con entrada bitérmica y eficiencia energética Aplus, secadora WT 46 S 511 EE de 7 kg de capacidad, lavavajillas totalmente integrable con clase A de eficiencia energética de lavado y de secado, placa de inducción EH 7 S 65001 E con 3 zonas de cocción, campana telescópica LI 48631 y microondas de acero inoxidable HF 23556 EU.

No es la primera vez que se elabora un hogar de estas características en España. Hace dos años, también durante la celebración del SIMA, se presentó en sociedad un proyecto similar, igualmente equipado por Siemens electrodomésticos, bautizado con el nombre de Magic Box y que también concurrió al Solar  Decathlon.
