Siemens apoya el desarrollo de viviendas más eficientes

Siemens está presente en el evento Solar Decathlon Europe 2012, patrocinando la participación de dos proyectos: Patio 2.12 y Casa Pi.

Solar Decathlon es una competición universitaria internacional cuyo objetivo es el diseño y construcción de casas que mantengan el confort y la calidad consumiendo los mínimos recursos de energía. De esta manera, el público puede comprobar que existen posibilidades reales de reducir el impacto medioambiental sin renunciar a la comodidad y al diseño en sus hogares.
Siemens Solar Decathlon
En este evento, Siemens, de acuerdo con la filosofía de la empresa de apoyo al diseño, la eficiencia energética y el ahorro doméstico, patrocina la labor de dos de los equipos universitarios españoles involucrados en el desarrollo de proyectos científicos eficientes que, más adelante, pueden ser llevados al mercado o bien utilizarse para mejorar productos ya existentes con el fin de reducir el impacto ambiental.

Andalucía Team es el equipo formado por las Universidades de Sevilla, Málaga, Granada y Jaén. Su proyecto, Patio 2.12, tiene como objetivo posicionarse como referente en el ámbito de la arquitectura doméstica de vanguardia y de las energías renovables presentando una vivienda sostenible basada en la tradición mediterránea en la que todos los módulos giran en torno a un elemento central: el patio.

Por otro lado, Siemens también colabora con la Universidad de Zaragoza y su Casa Pi. Para este proyecto, Unizar apuesta por una casa de bajo impacto ambiental, con accesibilidad universal, cilíndrica, autosuficiente energéticamente, que gestiona su propio ciclo del agua y es innovadora en materiales y tecnologías existentes.
