Aged fir-wood, collected and treated in a natural way, maintaining tones and grain differences among the different staves, big knots, blackening due to nail holes, cracks, traces of resin and even the eventual presence of splinters.

Shanghai table top, which legs overlap like the sticks of the famous game and Xian cupboard with square hsape, testify the story of this kind of wood that can change time after time its colour since the ripening continues: all these hints are features of the old wood and confirm its authenticity and its value.
