Roca presenta el Innovation Festival

Roca ha colaborado con el BCD, organizador y coordinador del Innovation Festival Barcelona, actuando como anfitrión de la inauguración del festival, una iniciativa impulsada por la Comisión Europea.

Roca Barcelona Gallery, el edificio insignia de la marca líder en la definición de espacios de baño, acogió el pasado 22 de octubre el acto de presentación del Innovation Festival Barcelona (IF Barcelona), que se celebra del 22 de octubre al 22 de noviembre de 2009, y que organiza y coordina el BCD (Barcelona Centre de Disseny).
 
Los 2.400 m2 de Roca Barcelona Gallery, obra del prestigioso estudio de arquitectura OAB dirigido por Carlos Ferrater, acogieron la presentación del festival, que cuenta con un programa de actividades, tales como exposiciones, conferencias, talleres, congresos, premios e itinerarios para estimular la creatividad, la innovación, y así dar respuesta a las necesidades y retos actuales de nuestra sociedad, destacando el papel del diseño como impulsor de la innovación y el talento, valores, asimismo, compartidos por Roca.
 
IF Barcelona es el primero de los European Innovation Festivals, celebrados en seis ciudades europeas desde 2009 hasta 2011. Estos proyectos, impulsados por la Comisión Europea y enmarcados en la iniciativa PRO INNO Europe, tienen como objeto promover y  estimular la excelencia y la innovación en varias regiones europeas a través de la implicación y sensibilización del público general, empresas, emprendedores y entidades públicas, así como reforzar el papel fundamental que juegan la creatividad, el diseño y la innovación en el desarrollo y el progreso de la sociedad.
