La firma Rehau ha presentado recientemente el nuevo programa Rausolid, un completo sistema compuesto por planchas macizas, encimeras, piezas moldeadas y accesorios elaborados a partir de un material mineral macizo e íntegramente coloreado, lo que lo hace ideal para su aplicación en cocinas, baños e interiores de alto nivel.

Elaborado con resina acrílica e hidróxido de aluminio, el nuevo material de Rehau se caracteriza por su especial composición y facilidad de manipulación. Además, las planchas Rausolid son absolutamente resistentes a la humedad y, en consecuencia, pueden emplearse en ámbitos donde hasta ahora los materiales minerales apenas se utilizaban.

En comparación con la piedra natural, Rausolid es un material resistente a hongos y bacterias. Se trata de una superficie neutra en cuanto a olor se refiere, siendo además regenerable a la vez que resistente frente a la radiación ultravioleta y productos agresivos empleados en la limpieza doméstica habitual. Asimismo, al ser termoconformable, este innovador material permite realizar prácticamente todas las geometrías y puede trabajarse mediante un sencillo mecanizado.

Como valor añadido, Rehau presenta en el mercado la combinación de Rausolid con un tablero de soporte ligero fabricado a base de poliuretano espumado. De esta forma, se abre la puerta a múltiples aplicaciones en el interiorismo moderno ya que no existen limitaciones en cuanto al espesor de las posibles creaciones.
