Con la entrada del nuevo año 2021, el pasado 1 de enero, el Grupo Homag ha cambiado de CEO. Concretamente, Ralf W. Dieter ha sucedido en el cargo a Pekka Paasivaara. Desde entonces, el directivo combina las funciones derivadas de su nuevo cargo con las de CEO de Dürr AG. En consecuencia, desde principios de enero, el alemán ha renunciado a su posición de presidente del consejo de supervisión del Grupo Homag. Este puesto lo ocupa, desde el inicio de este año, Gerhard Federer.

El nuevo CEO del Grupo Homag, Ralf W. Dieter, ha asegurado: Debido a mi larga función como presidente del consejo de supervisión, conozco muy bien la empresa. Tengo muchas ganas de asumir ahora la responsabilidad operativa del Grupo Homag. Sobre su predecesor, ha dicho: Pekka Paasivaara ha desempeñado un papel importante en el desarrollo de Homag. Ha tenido especial éxito en impulsar la expansión del negocio internacional de la compañía.

El anterior CEO del Grupo Homag, anunció a finales de septiembre que no prorrogaría su contrato con la empresa. Lo que significaba que dejaba la compañía, de mutuo acuerdo, el 31 de diciembre de 2020. Desde el 1 de enero, la junta directiva del Grupo Homag está formada por Ralf W. Dieter y el director financiero Rainer Gausepohl. Otros cambios en el consejo de supervisión son, también, las incorporaciones de Jochen Weyrauch y Steffen Lorscheider.

El proveedor ofrece soluciones integradas para la producción en la industria de la madera, la carpintería y el mueble. Cuenta con 14 centros de producción especializados, unas 20 empresas de ventas y otros servicios propiedad del grupo. Asimismo, tienen aproximadamente unos 60 socios de ventas exclusivos en todo el mundo. Unas características que convierten a la empresa en un proveedor de sistemas único.

El Grupo Homag está respaldado por una plantilla de casi 7.000 empleados. Gracias a ellos, ofrece a sus clientes soluciones para la producción digitalizada. Basadas en la continuidad de los datos desde el punto de venta hasta el proceso de producción. Además, el ecosistema abierto “tapio” traza el flujo de datos a lo largo de toda la cadena de valor. Un servicio que se basa en una plataforma abierta de Internet de las Cosas. Asimimso, cabe añadir que, el grupo es propiedad del Grupo Dürr desde octubre de 2014.
