Porcelanosa: 80 millones para renovarse

Durante los próximos cuatro años, Porcelanosa invertirá 80 millones de euros en renovar las líneas de fabricación de parte de las ocho empresas industriales que componen el grupo con el objetivo de cambiar la tendencia de las ventas.

Según José Vicente Roca, Consejero Delegado de Porcelanosa, las ventas de la compañía cayeron el año pasado casi un 5%, hasta los 1.056 millones de euros. Por eso, Porcelanosa ha decidido invertir en los próximos cuatro años 80 millones de euros para renovar las líneas de fabricación de parte de las ocho empresas que forman el grupo y reordenar las más de un centenar de filiales comerciales que gestionan la distribución y las 500 tiendas propias.

De esta forma, Roca prevé que invertirá la tendencia y volverá a experimentar crecimientos de ventas anuales de entre el 5 y el 15%, aunque en el presente ejercicio la firma se conforma con repetir resultados.

Respecto a la red comercial, Porcelanosa apuesta por atender los países europeos que durante estos años de crecimiento habían descuidado. Sin embargo, las mayores inversiones previstas ahora están en Chicago, Shanghai y Nueva Delhi.
