Poggenpohl incrementa sus ventas

El fabricante alemán de cocinas aumentó un 3% la cifra de negocio durante el ejercicio 2008, hasta alcanzar los 128 millones de euros. Las exportaciones subieron más de un 75% y el número de empleados se elevó a 571 en los últimos cinco años.

A pesar de la crisis económica, Poggenpohl continuó creciendo en el ejercicio 2008: incrementó la cifra de ventas en un 3%, de 124 millones que registró en 2007 a 128 millones de euros en 2008.

En los últimos cinco años, la empresa ha aumentado la cifra de ventas de 76 millones de euros en el año 2003,  hasta hoy a 128 millones de euros. Durante este periodo también ha aumentado el número de empleados un 27% hasta alcanzar la cifra actual de 571. Sólo en Alemania, Poggenpohl cuenta con 406 trabajadores.

Nuevas aperturas en 2009
Para este año 2009, Poggenpohl prevé seguir invirtiendo en su red de distribución internacional. En el primer trimestre del año, la firma inaugurará, entre otros, estudios de cocina en Houston, Philadelphia, Londres y Bremen. Con estas aperturas, el número de estudios Poggenpohl aumentará mundialmente a 35. Además, la empresa inaugurará a mediados de este año un nuevo estudio en Dallas (EEUU) y otro en Tokio, el primer estudio de cocina en el mercado asiático.
