Anieme ha organizado una promoción específica en Arabia Saudita que cuenta estos días con la participación de ocho de las empresas españolas de mueble de vanguardia más reconocidas a nivel nacional e internacional.

Arabia Saudita está atravesando una importante fase de desarrollo urbanístico y de la construcción, que se materializa en grandes y medianos proyectos de instalaciones de diverso tipo (residencial, oficinas, centros comerciales, complejos hoteleros de lujo), lo cual ha aumentado la demanda de mobiliario, especialmente dentro del segmento medio-alto y alto del mercado.

La construcción de nuevas viviendas, hoteles, resorts, oficinas, centros de ocio…etc. ha provocado un ascenso continuado de las importaciones de muebles y una gran proliferación de los despachos de arquitectura y diseño de interiores que se encargan de la ejecución de estos proyectos.

Se trata de un mercado con una de las rentas per cápita más altas del mundo, así como una de las economías de mayores dimensiones de toda la región del Golfo Pérsico. Los importadores de muebles se muestran favorables a conocer nuevos productos y el grado de competencia entre los distribuidores del sector no es tan agresivo como en el caso de Dubai, dada la menor concentración de proveedores extranjeros.

Es por eso que, en el marco del Plan Sectorial del Mueble Anieme-Icex 2011, la Asociación Nacional de Industriales y Exportadores de Muebles de España (Anieme) ha organizado una misión directa a Arabia Saudita en las ciudades de Riyadh y Jeddah, en la que están participando las empresas Actiu, Andreu World, Gandia Blasco, Almerich, Grassoler, Point, Rafemar y Darc. .

La promoción comercial comenzó el pasado 30 de enero y se extenderá hasta este jueves, 3 de febrero. El objetivo es promover contactos con importadores, arquitectos y diseñadores de interiores que contribuyan a consolidar la presencia del mueble español de vanguardia en Arabia Saudita.
