Once empresas valencianas del sector del mueble han viajado en misión comercial a las ciudades indias de Delhi y Mumbai acompañadas de personal de Anieme y con el apoyo del Icex.

Las empresas Colección Alexandra, Muebles Canella, Artalda, Vicente Zaragozá, Antonio Almerich, Capdell, Eduardo Terradez Eve, Mariner, Muebles Vicent Montoro, Moblesa y Verdeguer Martín salieron el pasado 3 de febrero destino a India para abrirse un hueco en el mercado del mueble el país.

La misión comercial, que se extenderá hasta el próximo día 11, contempla entrevistas de los fabricantes valencianos con los importadores y prescriptores indios de Delhi y Mumbai. Esta misión permitirá así una primera toma de contacto con la realidad de este complejo mercado para aquellos fabricantes valencianos interesados en introducir su producto en India y como fase preparatoria de la futura participación agrupada en la feria Index Mumbai, en octubre 2010.

Oportunidad de negocio

Tras el estudio de mercado realizado durante tres meses por personal de Anieme, se han detectado oportunidades de negocio en India para el mueble español de gama alta, lo que ha llevado a la organización de esta acción.

Con una población superior a 1.200 millones de habitantes y un crecimiento constante del PIB en torno a un 8% desde 2003, India es un mercado creciente y dinámico, en plena expansión y desarrollo económico y social. Pese a la evolución hacia un incremento del poder adquisitivo de las clases sociales medias, el nicho de mercado para el mueble español se concentra en el segmento más alto. El perfil del consumidor indio con acceso a estos productos es marquista, sofisticado y con gustos exclusivos.

En la actualidad un 3% de la población india pertenece a la clase social alta, lo que se traduce en 36 millones de potenciales clientes, cifra que demuestra las oportunidades de negocio que ofrece este mercado emergente.
