Nuevo vicepresidente y CIO para EMEA de Whirlpool

Whirlpool ha nombrado a Andrea Ciccolini, vicepresidente y Jefe de Información (CIO) de EMEA. Reportará directamente a la presidenta de la región, Esther Berrozpe.

Ciccoline ha explicado que se siente honrado por unirse al equipo de Whirlpool EMEA y por poder proporcionar sus habilidades y experiencia para ayudar a superar los retos digitales a los que se enfrenta el sector: el Internet de las Cosas, el Big Data y el Cloud Computing están cambiando rápidamente los paradigmas tradicionales, y esta revolución nos invita a reconocer y desarrollar la potencialidad que ofrece la tecnología digital, para hacer que Whirlpool EMEA sea cada vez más competitivo.

Antes de su incorporación a Whirlpool, Andrea trabajaba en Estados Unidos como CIO de Patterson Medical, donde con responsabilidad sobre la organización global de TI, contribuyó a la creación de una infraestructura de TI nueva y vanguardista. Con anterioridad desempeñó cargos importantes en el campo de las Tecnologías de la Información en firmas internacionales como Hospira y Federal-Mogul.

Andrea, de 45 años, se graduó en Ingeniería en el Politecnico de Turín. En 2014, la Cámara de Comercio de Turín lo nombró Mentor para el Crecimiento Internaciona", un reconocimiento reservado a los profesionales italianos que viven y trabajan en el extranjero, pero siguen vinculados a la región del Piamonte por razones de origen, académicas o profesionales.
