Nuevo director general de Feria de Zaragoza

El Comité Ejecutivo de Feria de Zaragoza acordó ayer por unanimidad proponer a la Junta Rectora de la institución el nombramiento de Jorge Esteban Lorenzo como nuevo director general. La propuesta de Jorge Esteban como director general de Feria de Zaragoza se produce tras un proceso de selección realizado por una firma especializada e independiente para garantizar la elección del mejor candidato posible. El nombramiento debe ser ratificado por la Junta Rectora, que preside el Gobierno de Aragón y que reúne a todos los partícipes propietarios de la Feria de Zaragoza.

 
Esteban, de 42 años, es director de la Asociación de la Empresa Familiar de Aragón (AEFA) desde 2011 y director de Compras de la Feria de Zaragoza desde junio de 2015. Su trayectoria presenta una amplia experiencia profesional en responsabilidades directivas tanto en el mundo de la empresa privada (Grupo Planeta, Banco Popular, Fibertel, Eboca, Zalba-Caldú y Chocolates Lacasa) como en la Administración pública (Gobierno de Aragón). Es licenciado en Derecho por la Universidad de Zaragoza, PDD por IESE Business School y cuenta además con el Programa de Administración y Gestión de Empresas de IE Business School. Su formación se completa con programas superiores en recursos humanos, contabilidad y auditoría. 
El presidente del Comité Ejecutivo de Feria, Manuel Teruel, ha expresado su convencimiento de que el nombramiento del nuevo director general reforzará el liderazgo nacional e internacional de la institución ferial de Zaragoza, así como la potenciación de su papel como uno de los grandes motores de la economía de Aragón.
