Nueva vitrocerámica Schott Ceran

Según la empresa Schott, Schott Ceran es la única encimera vitrocerámica en todo el mundo que no contiene metales pesados tóxicos. Con ello marca la pauta mundial en cuestiones de compatibilidad medioambiental.

Gracias a una composición especial de materiales, Schott está actualmente en condiciones de cumplir estándares ecológicos del futuro, demostrando con ello su fuerza innovadora. Hoy en día, Schott es capaz de producir el 70% de las placas vitrocerámicas y a corto plazo pasará a fabricar todas las encimeras de acuerdo con este estándar.

Exigencias de los consumidores

De acuerdo con un estudio del Grupo GfK, el 48% de los ciudadanos estaría dispuesto a gastar más dinero en productos con menor impacto ambiental. La nueva placa Ceran Suprema responde a esta exigencia, puesto que está compuesta fundamentalmente de arena de cuarzo, una materia prima natural.

Por su parte, gracias a una mezcla especial de cristal de cuarzo alto y a una técnica patentada de fundición de alta tecnología, Schott Ceran ahorra al año más de 180 toneladas de arsénico y antimonio, metales pesados que tendría que utilizar si no dispusiera de esta técnica patentada. Estos aditivos son necesarios en los procesos de producción tradicionales para lograr que la vitrocerámica sea de alta calidad.
