Nueva tienda Leroy Merlin en Zaragoza

Con más de 10.000 metros cuadrados de sala de venta distribuida en dos plantas, Leroy Merlin Puerto Venecia es la tienda especializada en decoración y bricolaje más grande de Aragón.

El pasado 20 de noviembre, Leroy Merlin inauguró en Zaragoza la tienda Leroy Merlin más grande de la Comunidad Autónoma de Aragón y su segundo establecimiento en la provincia. Se llama Leroy Merlin Puerto Venecia y ha supuesto una inversión de 30 millones de euros y la creación de 150 puestos de trabajo directos, con más de un 90% de contratación indefinida.

Con más de 11.500 m2 de superficie construida sobre terreno propiedad de Leroy Merlin, la tienda ofrece más de 32.000 referencias de producto, convirtiéndose en el mayor centro especializado en decoración y bricolaje de la Comunidad Autónoma de Aragón.

Según apuntó José Luís Azañón, Director de Desarrollo de Leroy Merlin, la naturaleza del Parque Comercial Puerto Venecia y su ubicación semi urbana, a tan sólo cinco minutos del centro de Zaragoza y con accesos a las principales vías de comunicación de acceso la capital, hacen que Leroy Merlin Puerto Venecia cuente con un área de influencia de más de 1,5 millones de habitantes.

Por otro lado la apertura de esta nueva tienda supone para la compañía fortalecer su relación con proveedores locales. En la actualidad las compras de Leroy Merlin a proveedores aragoneses ascienden a más de 22 millones de euros, cifra que ha incrementado en siete millones de euros de 2005 a 2007.

Como dato curioso, la nueva tienda integra un sistema multisensorial de ambientación compuesto por elementos visuales y auditivos. Puerto Venecia cuenta con cinco pantallas de plasma distribuidas por la tienda y tres zonas de audio, una ambientada con sonido de pájaros ubicada en la sección Jardín, otra ambientada con sonido de agua en movimiento, ubicada en la sección Baños y una tercera zona de ambiente en toda la sala de venta, con hasta tres tipos de música diferentes en función de la hora y afluencia de público.
