New Pol presenta concurso de acreedores

New Pol cesa definitivamente su actividad en España. Ha presentado concurso voluntario de acreedores y prepara su liquidación.

Ayer lo avanzó Expansión. New Pol, empresa de electrodomésticos de larga trayectoria en nuestro país, ha presentado concurso voluntario de acreedores y solicitado su liquidación.

En 2006, New Pol vendió su fábrica de Martorelles (Barcelona) a Taurus y, desde entonces, la marca propiedad de la italiana Antonio Merloni estaba en España sólo a nivel comercial.

Según la mencionada fuente, la sociedad New Pol ha presentado concurso voluntario de acreedores en el Juzgado Mercantil número 3 de Barcelona, solicitando que se lleven a cabo los trámites para la liquidación de la empresa. En paralelo, New Pol ha presentado un expediente de regulación de empleo para 19 trabajadores.

En 2009, la facturación de New Pol alcanzó los 13,8 millones de euros, y unas pérdidas de 16,86 millones. New Pol ha comenzado a liquidar activos, entre ellos cuenta con las oficinas de Sant Fost de Campsentelles (Barcelona), material y créditos pendientes de cobro.
