Weinig ya tiene filial en España. Ubicada en el municipio madrileño de Alcalá de Henares y dirigida por Wolfgang Stadi, Michael Weinig España garantizará mayor eficacia y calidad de la asistencia técnica y comercial.

Weinig España no tendrá una exposición de maquinaria, pero sí un almacén de repuestos que servirá para centralizar, agilizar y mejorar el servicio técnico. Con la filial, ha asegurado Wolfgan Stadie, Director General de Michael Weinig España, mejoraremos nuestra competencia de servicio en España y Portugal, y es que desde Alcalá, proporcionará formación técnica al personal de sus representantes y clientes, ofrecerá un servicio de inspección técnica de las máquinas a sus clientes e incluso aspira a alcanzar acuerdos de servicio técnico regular con sus grandes clientes en la Península Ibérica.

                               

Junto a Wolfgang Stadie trabajan en la oficina Britta Heisterkamp, como responsable del área técnico-comercial de la maquinaria para perfilar; Michael Stöhr, responsable del área técnico-comercial de máquinas para optimizar la madera; Claudio Vogel (servicio técnico y gestión de recambios) y Nuria Gil Martín, al frente de la administración, contabilidad y gestión de ofertas).

Weinig vendió en España y Portugal más de 150 máquinas durante el año 2006, obteniendo una facturación de 11 millones de euros. La venta de las moldureras de última tecnología de la serie Powermat, así como de las líneas de optimización de madera fue muy satisfactoria.
