En busca de un concepto innovador de cocina con la modularidad típica de un producto industrial, Giugiaro Design ha propuesto a Scavolini una forma curva y dinámica para todos los elementos.

Scavolini ha lanzado al mercado la nueva cocina Flux, fruto de un proyecto exclusivo que se salta las pautas estilísticas codificadas. Diseñada por Giugiaro Design, Flux destaca por sus formas curvas y dinámicas para todos los elementos que la componen -muebles de pared y bases-, que marcan un diseño muy original en contraste con los elementos técnicos -columnas para horno y refrigerador-, más sencillos y lineales.

Esta elección ha requerido el uso de un sistema de cajones grandes para las bases y de puertas proyectantes para los muebles de pared, elementos con los que se ofrecen sistemas más ergonómicos para la apertura de los muebles. Por otra parte, una vez definida la diagramación inicial de los módulos, se ha trabajado en dos direcciones diversas pero al mismo tiempo compatibles, derivando el nuevo concepto en una versión “Hi-Tech” y una versión en madera denominada “Madera”.
