Misión comercial española en India

Seis empresas del sector de la madera y el mueble participaron del 13 al 17 de octubre en una misión comercial directa organizada por CONFEMADERA en las ciudades indias de Bombay y Bangalore.

Gracias al Plan de Exportación de Productos de Madera 2008 de CONFEMADERA, las empresas han mantenido agendas de trabajo en Bombay y en Bangalore, donde se han llevado a cabo entrevistas con arquitectos, interioristas, distribuidores de productos de madera, constructores y fabricantes de diversas industrias auxiliares del mueble.

La conclusión del viaje ha sido positiva. Los empresarios han tenido la oportunidad de encontrar un mercado que ofrece muy buena acogida a sus productos, a pesar de la fuerte competitividad del sudeste asiático con menores niveles de calidad.

La India es el segundo país más poblado del mundo con aproximadamente 1.200 millones de habitantes, de los cuales una cuarta parte tiene un gran poder adquisitivo. Su crecimiento económico sostenido la convierte en una de las economías con mayor ritmo de expansión.

El Plan de Exportación de CONFEMADERA 2008 contempla  para terminar el año otra misión directa a Emiratos Árabes y una misión de estudio a Uruguay en las que técnicos de CONFEMADERA conocerán de primera mano las peculiaridades y las posibilidades que pueden tener estos destinos para el sector español de la madera.
