Miele entrega 1.000 cuentos infantiles para pacientes en hospitales

Coincidiendo con el Día Internacional del Libro, Miele colaboró con la Editorial Sanukita para donar un total de 1.000 cuentos infantiles a la Red Estatal de Bibliotecas de Pacientes. De esta manera, los libros llegarán a todos los Hospitales de España.

La red de bibliotecas para pacientes está impulsada por la Fundación Educación para la Salud, cuyas siglas son FUNDADEPS. Una organización sin ánimo de lucro que trabaja desde hace más de 18 años en el Hospital Clínico San Carlos de Madrid. Desde allí, la entidad hará llegar los cuentos infantiles donados por Miele y Editorial Sanukita a los más pequeños.

Miele ha participado como patrocinador en la producción de un millar cuentos infantiles ilustrados. Una cantidad de libros que han ido dirigidos en su totalidad a FUNDADEPS en el marco del programa Salud y Lectura. El objetivo de la colaboración es ofrecer entretenimiento a los niños ingresados.

La lectura es una actividad que favorece la recuperación y disminuye las sensaciones de soledad y aislamiento. Asimismo, la donación incrementa las actividades de formato lectura dirigidas a pacientes y usuarios del hospital. De esta forma, Miele quiere repartir ilusión entre los más pequeños para que puedan disfrutar de grandes historias.
