El mueble cordobés exportó 14,7 millones de euros el pasado año, según un reciente informe elaborado por Extenda. La Junta de Andalucía pretende poner en marcha un plan de internacionalización para el sector.

19.12.2017 Un total de 13 empresas andaluzas del mueble participaron el pasado día 13 en Lucena (Córdoba)  en la jornada El sector del mueble en Andalucía y su internacionalización, tal como informa el Diaro de Córdoba, En ella, la Consejería de Economía y Conocimiento, a través de Extenda-Agencia Andaluza de Promoción Exterior, presentó un informe exhaustivo sobre el sector en la comunidad. El foro se organizó junto a CECO-Madera y fue inaugurado por el delegado de Economía, Innovación, Ciencia y Empleo, Manuel Carmona, y el concejal de Innovación y Desarrollo, Manuel Lara Cantizani.

Andalucía, en buena posición dentro del sector del mueble en España

Según se puso de manifiesto, el sector del mueble cordobés exportó el año pasado 14,7 millones de euros y esta provincia lidera en Andalucía el número de sedes operativas, con un 25% en el año 2016. Manuel Carmona indicó que a partir de ahora elaboraremos un plan de acciones para el sector del mueble e impulsaremos una acción coordinada entre la Administración autonómica y el sector empresarial que permita generar un marco propicio para potenciar la capacidad de internacionalización de las empresas andaluzas.

Según las conclusiones del estudio, Andalucía es la primera comunidad autónoma en número de empresas del sector del mueble (2105) -el 16,9% de España- y en empleo generado (9.440 trabajadores). Además, el canal Contract y las smart cities se han convertido en ámbitos de oportunidad para el sector. Según concluye el informe, es aconsejable que el sector empresarial refuerce su presencia en los contenidos de los planes de actuación para la internacionalización del sector.

Investigación, cooperación y soluciones competitivas

El estudio apunta también la necesidad de extender en el sector la cultura de cooperación en investigación e innovación, así como potenciar el diseño y el uso de tecnologías. También revela que es preciso diseñar itinerarios formativos para las necesidades del sector y apoyar la formación de consorcios, sobre todo en mercados que demandan soluciones competitivas (contract, ciudades inteligentes, etcétera), así como impulsar la figura de los polos de competitividad o crear una plataforma de ePartners que facilite la búsqueda de socios internacionales para proyectos en el exterior.

Según se extrae del análisis sectorial recogido en el informe, el sector del mueble tiene un peso importante en la economía andaluza, ya que ocupa la décimo octava posición en valor añadido bruto acumulado de un total de 91 sectores de actividad pública y privada.
