El nuevo presidente de ANIEME, Muñoz Melero, solicita a la Administración mayor inversión en la promoción exterior del Mueble de España. Confía en que el sector crezca más de un 3% en el exterior.

El presidente de la Asociación Nacional de Industriales y Exportadores de Muebles de España (ANIEME), Juan Carlos Muñoz Melero, ha presentado su Plan de Acción para el impulso y fomento de la exportación de las empresas españolas del sector del mueble que desarrollará durante los próximos cuatro años.

Tal y como explicó Muñoz Melero, la ralentización de las ventas en el mercado interior, que han caído más de un 20% en el primer cuatrimestre, hace de la exportación una clave estratégica imprescindible para las empresas españolas. Mientras las ventas en el mercado nacional han caído, las exportaciones durante el primer cuatrimestre de 2008 han crecido un 2,2%, por lo que ANIEME confía en cerrar el año con crecimientos superiores al 3%.

Objetivos 2009-2012
El Plan de Actuación del nuevo presidente se basa en tres pilares fundamentales. Por un lado, impulsará un posicionamiento más contundente de la marca Mueble de España, cuyo rediseño pretende transmitir los valores de pasión, variedad y riqueza del mueble español. Para lograrlo, reclamamos a la Administración más ayudas directas para la promoción de la marca, sin limitación de destinos. ANIEME también espera recibir el apoyo de sus empresas asociadas en esta labor.

El segundo objetivo de Muñoz Melero es, precisamente, impulsar el asociacionismo y lograr incrementar hasta un 8% la base asociativa de ANIEME. En la actualidad, la Asociación cuenta con cerca de 270 socios individuales, representando a 800 empresas a través de los socios colectivos.

Además, y como tercer objetivo, Muñoz Melero tiene previsto invertir más en el estudio e información fiable para acometer la entrada en nuevos destinos emergentes como China, India, Brasil y puntos estratégicos de África como Marruecos (donde el sector de las instalaciones está en auge), Angola o Guinea que también comienzan a experimentar estabilidad política y crecimiento económico.

ANIEME también tratará de dar un paso más allá en la obtención de información sobre los destinos de la exportación española de muebles, habiendo firmado un proyecto en colaboración con AIDIMA para, a través del Observatorio Español del Mueble, obtener la información de las estadísticas de exportaciones nacionales de muebles por estilos: rústico, clásico, moderno, diseño, rattan, o tapizado, entre otros.
