LG se suma a la celebración del Día Mundial del Medioambiente, el pasado 5 de junio, con distintas actividades de concienciación sobre la necesidad de proteger el legado natural y cultural del Planeta.

Con el objetivo de llegar al mayor número de personas posible y alcanzar así máxima visibilidad, LG ha puesto en marcha en todas sus subsidiarias distintas iniciativas dirigidas a sus públicos externos y también a los internos. De esta forma, LG España ha elegido el día 6 de junio para que los trabajadores de sus oficinas planten nuevos árboles (ejemplares de flora autóctona) en el entorno de su sede en Madrid.
 
Bajo el lema Life’s Good When It’s Green, LG España ha puesto también en marcha una iniciativa de concienciación dirigida a sus empleados con la que han recordado tanto las estrategias de negocio sostenible de la corporación, Green 2020, encaminadas a producir productos menos contaminantes y a reducir el consumo de energía y agua en su proceso de fabricación, entre otras.
 
El Día Mundial del Medioambiente de las Naciones Unidas nos recuerda la necesidad de que todos los agentes sociales, individuos y empresas estemos unidos por lo realmente importante: el Planeta y el legado cultural que hemos heredado, ha señalado Jaime de Jaraíz, presidente y CEO de LG Iberia. Con estas iniciativas seguimos inspirando a las personas a conservar los tesoros que tenemos, pero también seguimos contribuyendo con la tecnología a mejorar el día a día de las personas.
