Leroy Merlin abre a lo grande en Rivas

Leroy Merlin ha inaugurado en Rivas (Madrid), la tienda más grande de España y la segunda más grande del mundo, con más de 14.500 m2 de sala de ventas, 400 empleados y más de 40.000 referencias.

La tienda de Rivas se encuentra en el Centro Comercial Rivas Futura ubicado en la localidad de Rivas Vaciamadrid, de la Comunidad de Madrid. Cuenta con una superficie total aproximada de 17.000 m2, de los que 14.500 m2 corresponden a  sala de venta,  y ofrece más de 40.000 referencias (12.000 más que otras tiendas). La nueva tienda ha supuesto una inversión de más de 45 millones de euros y da empleo a un equipo de 400 colaboradores de los que 300 son puestos directos y 100 son indirectos.

Actualmente, el número de tiendas Leroy Merlin de la Comunidad de Madrid asciende a ocho (Leganés, Las Rozas, Alcorcón, Alcalá de Henares, San Sebastián de los Reyes, Majadahonda, Rivas y Getafe) lo que supone una superficie total de venta de más de 80.000 m2 y la generación de más de 2.300 puestos directos, de los que un 94% corresponden a empleo fijo.

El nuevo concepto de tienda se define por la puesta en escena y accesibilidad de los productos a través de zonas de exposición más extensas -alrededor de 1.000 m2 de zonas de exposición- pasillos más amplios y sala más luminosa; por la oferta de soluciones globales a través de espacios proyectos especializados en el diseño y realización de proyectos personalizados en las áreas de cocinas, baños, jardín, decoración y armarios; y por la disposición de artículos por tonalidades y estilos, así como por la combinación de artículos de distintas familias por estilos.
