Koelnmesse sigue expandiendo su presencia en el mercado latinoamericano: con la fundación de la filial Koelnmesse SAS en Colombia, con sede en Bogotá, Koelnmesse se convertirá a en el primer organizador internacional de ferias de muestras con filial propia en este importante mercado ferial de América Latina.

Como tercera economía más grande de América Latina, Colombia resulta de gran importancia estratégica para nosotros como mercado ferial, así como para nuestros eventos en Colonia, explica Gerald Böse, CEO de Koelnmesse GmbH.

Koelnmesse lleva desplegando su actividad comercial en Colombia desde el año 2014. Junto con la empresa ferial colombiana Corferias, que opera el mayor centro de exposiciones de la región andina, Koelnmesse organiza en la actualidad tres ferias in situ: la feria de tecnología alimentaria Alimentec, la feria de tecnología de envasado Andina-Pack, además de la Feria Mueble & Madera, una plataforma comercial del sector de subcontratistas de mobiliario.

Christian Guarin, gerente de la filial

Christian Guarin será a partir del 1 de junio de 2018 el gerente de la filial. Este colombiano de 48 años era hasta entonces el director de Ventas y Marketing de una oficina de representación ferial en España. Anteriormente, ocupó diversos cargos sobre todo en los ámbitos de marketing y ventas, tanto en un contexto internacional como enfocado a los mercados español y latinoamericano.

La nueva filial también asumirá la responsabilidad de los eventos de Koelmesse en Colombia, así como las ventas de todos los eventos internacionales de Koelnmesse a expositores y visitantes colombianos.
