Imm Cologne: la cocina como obra de arte

Imm Cologne presentó ayer, 19 de septiembre, las claves más originales de la proxima edición de la feria, en la que el espacio Art of Kitchen mostrará una visión futurista de la cocina desde el punto de vista de un estudio de arquitectura holandés.

Interesante es la expectación que están provocando los organizadores de Imm Cologne 2008 con respecto a su próxima edición, que tendrá lugar en Colonia (Alemania), de 14 al 20 del próximo mes de enero. Parece ser que en esta ocasión el evento se dibuja más original que nunca gracias a una importante apuesta por la exposición de las últimas ideas y proyectos de diseñadores, interioristas y arquitectos en todos los ámbitos del hogar.

Así lo comunicó la Organización el pasado 19 de septiembre en Palma de Mallorca. Especiales como Compasso d´Oro – 50 años de diseño italiano; Dutch Design, dedicado exclusivamente al diseño alemán; Arquitecture Code, congreso dedicado a interioristas y diseñadores; y Art of Kitchen, entre otros, son claros ejemplos del arte que se verá en la feria.

Según apuntó Udo Träger, Director del Área Comercial Muebles, Decoración y Textiles de Imm Cologne, esta iniciativa representa una llamada a tiempo para conseguir el acercamiento entre diseñadores, interioristas y arquitectos y fabricantes de mobiliario.

La cocina como obra de arte

Sin duda, Art of Kitchen representa una respuesta a una necesidad palpable en Alemania y, porqué no decirlo, en el panorama ferial internacional. Tras la cancelación de la última edición de Imm Cuisinale el pasado año, los responsables de Imm Cologne quieren ahora mostrar su interés por la exposición de cocinas devolviéndole el papel protagonista que se merece, como punto de reunión en el hogar y principal motor del negocio del mueble en general.

Para ello, y debido a que la relación entre arquitectos, diseñadores e interioristas y fabricantes de mobiliario se hace cada vez más imprescindible, Imm Cologne quiere ahora acercar los deseos de los creativos a los fabricantes de muebles de cocina, potenciando la interacción entre ambos.

Nace así el concepto Art of Kitchen, un espacio en el que convivirá la exposición de muebles de cocina de gama alta y una original instalación desarrollada por un Estudio de Arquitectura holandés en colaboración con los fabricantes Poggenpohl, Allmimö, Leicht, Zeyco y Dornbracht.

Esta original forma de ver la cocina, a la que se unirán más de lejos otras marcas de muebles de cocina con sus stands y novedades, pretende ser anual y está abierta a la participación de nuevas marcas de gama alta en próximas ediciones.
