La desaparición de la bienal Imm cuisinale parece que es . Para escurrir el bulto, los organizadores de la feria ofrecerán en 2008 el espacio Pure, donde podran exponerse cocinas Premium.
La edición 2007 de Imm Cologne ha destacado por la desaparición de la feria bienal Imm Cuisnale -dedicada exclusivamente a la exposición de muebles de cocina y electrodomésticos-, tras la decisión de la Asociación alemana de fabricantes de muebles (VdDK) y la Asociación Profesional de Grandes Electrodomésticos de no participar en la feria.

A pesar de esta situación y de las bajas que pudo provocar el huracán Kyrill que azotó la zona a partir del jueves, según datos oficiales, durante los siete días que duró Imm Cologne, 1.301 empresas expositoras-1.278 expositores y 23 empresas representadas adicionalmente-, mostraron sus últimas novedades a alrededor de 115.000 visitantes, 34.0000 de ellos consumidores finales. Para los responsables del evento, estos resultados son muy positivos y representan el auge que vive el sector.

Imm Cuisinale no volverá

No se sabía si la cancelación de la edición Imm Cuisinale 2007 era una postergación o una desaparición final de la feria. Sin embargo, según se puede deducir de las declaraciones de los responsables, parece ser que Imm Cuisinale no se celebrará más. Como alternativa, Koeln Messe ofrece Pure, un espacio dedicado al diseño y la arquitectura en el que las cocinas premium pueden participar como parte integrante.
