La multinacional sueca ha incrementado su presencia en Internet con el propósito de consolidar su estrategia digital a través de redes sociales como Facebook, Twitter y un canal oficial en YouTube.

Con la apertura de estos canales, Ikea potencia su estrategia especializada en redes sociales, que comenzó hace un año con la puesta en marcha de su red social elhogar.de, un espacio multifuncional donde los usuarios comparten experiencias y buscan información y asesoramiento.

Además, la marca ha creado un espacio dentro de la red www.elhogar.de/IKEA para fomentar un diálogo en un entorno más informal. Esta red, que ha generado más de 200.000 conversaciones desde su creación, complementa la página web de la compañía, cuya edición española recibe una media de 3 millones de visitas al mes.

Ikea ha lanzado otras iniciativas a través del móvil, como la aplicación creada para el iPhone que, durante su primer mes, fue adquirida por más de 100.000 personas.
