Ikea lanza una aplicación para iPhone

Ikea ha lanzado una aplicación para iPhone mediante la cual, los usuarios podrán interactuar con muebles y objetos de decoración de la firma.

La aplicación, que está disponible desde finales de octubre en la tienda de aplicaciones de Apple, se convirtió durante su primera semana en la segunda aplicación gratuita más descargada entre los usuarios de iPhone en España. Durante el primer mes la utilizaron más de 100.000 personas. La aplicación cuenta con dos funciones: Coloca tu mueble y Descubre tu estilo.

Gracias a Coloca tu mueble, el usuario puede elegir uno de los más de 45 muebles y complementos diferentes para jugar con ellos dentro de la imagen que esté captando la cámara del iPhone en su hogar. Puede mover el mueble tanto en vertical como en horizontal, ampliarlo o reducirlo con la barra lateral para ajustarlo al espacio que desee. Una vez el mueble o producto está colocado, se puede realizar la foto con la inclusión del mueble previamente seleccionado.

La segunda sección, Descubre tu estilo, se compone de un test, cuyo principal objetivo es descubrir el verdadero estilo del usuario. Mediante una batería de preguntas aleatorias, el usuario irá reflejando sus preferencias en las respuestas, de tal forma que al finalizar el test, la aplicación mostrará al usuario el estilo que más le conviene.

Miguel Ángel Orbaneja, responsable de Internet y Proyectos Interactivos de IKEA Ibérica, destaca: “Nos ha sorprendido enormemente la gran acogida de la aplicación, dado que pretendíamos una primera toma de contacto en un entorno nuevo para nosotros. Es una nueva forma de relacionarnos con nuestro público, a la vez que pueden interactuar con nuestra marca y nuestra gama de productos”.
