Ikea creará un complejo comercial en Alicante

La multinacional ha presentado un proyecto que contempla la creación en Alicante de un macro complejo comercial que ocupará 131.000 m2, 35.000 destinados a Ikea y el resto para un centro comercial, comercios como MediaMarkt o Leroy Merlín y aparcamientos.

Esta iniciativa es para los representantes de Ikea una actuación prioritaria dentro del plan de expansión de la empresa sueca, que tiene previsto crear 16 nuevos centros comerciales.

El proyecto contempla la creación de un macro complejo comercial que ocupará 131.000 metros cuadrados, donde además de la gran tienda del mueble, que tendrá 35.000 metros, se ubicará un centro comercial con 60.000 metros cuadrados, que dará cabida a un hipermercado y a más de 200 tiendas, entre ellas establecimientos de restauración.

Incluye también un parque comercial de 22.000 metros cuadrados para la instalación de medianas superficies de la magnitud de Media Markt o Leroy Merlín, y un estacionamiento para 5.500 vehículos.

Por lo que se refiere a los plazos, se prevé que Ikea empiece a funcionar en Alicante en menos de tres o cuatro años.
