Grupo Teka se diversifica

El Grupo Teka ha completado la adquisición de la empresa alemana WEW, dedicada a la fabricación de contenedores industriales, a través de Thielmann, la sociedad del Grupo especializada en contenedores.

WEW es un fabricante de contenedores especiales que cuenta con una fuerte presencia internacional. Con esta adquisición, la Unidad de Negocio de Contenedores del Grupo Teka amplía y diversifica su cartera de clientes y accede a sectores donde no estaba presente cona aterioridad, como la industria nuclear, la militar, o la de servicios de emergencia. También consolida su presencia en los sectores químico, gas y petróleo.

Además, WEW complementa la oferta de productos del Grupo al estar especializada en contenedores industriales de gran tamaño, con capacidades comprendidas entre 3.000 y 50.000 litros.

La empresa WEW se integrará en la división de contenedores de Teka cuya sociedad cabecera es Thielmann  y donde  operan  marcas como UCON o Portinox (líder mundial en fabricación de barriles de cerveza). Con esta adquisición, el Grupo Teka añade una nueva fábrica situada en la ciudad alemana de Weitefeld y suma 25 factorías en todo el mundo, de las cuales siete están dedicadas a la producción de contenedores industriales.
