Tras más de 10 años como empresa asociada, el Grupo Cosentino amplía su colaboración e implicación con el FAD para la promoción del diseño y la arquitectura en la sociedad.

Ayer en la sede del FAD (Fomento de las Artes y el Diseño), el Disseny Hub Barcelona, tuvo lugar la firma del acuerdo de patrocinio entre Grupo Cosentino y el FAD (Fomento de las Artes y del Diseño), así como su asociación de arquitectos e interioristas ARQUIN-FAD.

Nani Marquina, presidenta del FAD; Silvia Farriol, presidenta de ARQUIN-FAD, y Vicente Martínez-Cosentino, gerente del Cosentino Center Barcelona, fueron los encargados de formalizar el acto de vinculación. Cosentino es miembro del FAD desde el año 2005, y este nuevo acuerdo corrobora la buena relación con la entidad, y la excelente predisposición de la multinacional española para apoyar a la cultura del diseño.

Tal y como explica Santiago Alfonso, director de Marketing y Comunicación de Cosentino, compartimos plenamente con el FAD su objetivo de promover la cultura creativa y mejorar la vida de las persones a través de un diseño y una arquitectura responsables. “Estamos convencidos de que la relación será altamente fructífera para ambas partes, y más ante una nueva etapa del FAD en la que se consolidará aún más como la asociación referente para la comunidad del diseño y la arquitectura, tanto de Cataluña como de toda España.

Por su parte, para la diseñadora y presidenta del FAD, Nani Marquina, este acuerdo además dará visibilidad entre los profesionales del diseño y la arquitectura al importante trabajo de innovación que lleva a cabo Cosentino, un trabajo ya muy reconocido internacionalmente.

El FAD (Fomento de las Artes y del Diseño) es una asociación de empresas y profesionales del diseño, la arquitectura y las disciplinas creativas. Fundada en 1903, la entidad organiza cerca de 200 actividades cada año, entre las que destaca el FADfest, el festival del diseño y la arquitectura de Barcelona, que cada año reúne las entregas de los premios más longevos y reconocidos de España en las distintas disciplinas del diseño, como son los Premios FAD de Arquitectura e Interiorismo; los Laus de Diseño Gráfico y Comunicación Visual; y los Delta de diseño industrial.
