Grupo Cosentino llega a Sudáfrica

El nuevo Center de Johannesburgo consolida la presencia de Cosentino en los cinco continentes, y eleva a más de 100 el número de estos almacenes de servicio integral que la compañía tiene repartidos por todo el mundo.

08.02.2018 Grupo Cosentino mantiene firme el pulso en su proceso de expansión internacional en base a activos propios con la apertura del primer Cosentino Center en Sudáfrica.

La inauguración oficial de este nuevo Center se produjo la semana pasada en un evento al que asistieron un amplio grupo de clientes y colaboradores de la multinacional española, representantes institucionales y sectoriales, diseñadores y arquitectos de la región, y medios de comunicación del país sudafricano. La cita contó con música en directo y diferentes presentaciones oficiales. Por parte de la compañía estuvieron presentes Eduardo Cosentino, EVP Global Sales & CEO Cosentino North America; Ginés Navarro, VP Sales ROW (Rest of the World) y Neil Sterley, Regional Director de Cosentino South Africa.

Capacidad para 10.000 tablas

Con un total de 3.200 m2 de superficie, el Center de Cosentino en Johannesburgo está ubicado en Elandsfontein, en la zona oeste de la ciudad, y próximo al Aeropuerto Internacional de Johannesburgo, Oliver Reginald Tambo. Este Center, primero que se inaugura oficialmente en este país y en todo el continente africano, ofrecerá los habituales recursos y espacios de este tipo de instalaciones, con salas de exhibición y trabajo, oficinas y aula de formación. Asimismo, cuenta con una extensa nave de almacenaje con capacidad para 10.000 tablas.

Cabe recordar que Sudáfrica contaba hasta el momento con sendos operadores logísticos situados en Ciudad del Cabo y la propia Johannesburgo. Abiertos entre 2014 y 2015, estas unidades meramente logísticas permitieron a la compañía almeriense alcanzar presencia e implantación en base a activos propios en los cinco continentes. Con la apertura ahora del Center en Johannesburgo, la multinacional redobla su apuesta tanto por este país en sí, como porque esta región actúe como futura palanca de crecimiento en el resto del continente.
