Fulgor financia la ascensión al Himalaya de un grupo de alpinistas discapacitados

Fulgor, fabricante italiano de electrodomésticos de cocina de alta gama, ha financiado la escalada al Cho-Oyu de un grupo de alpinistas españoles discapacitados.

Fulgor ha financiado la escalada al Cho-Oyu, de un grupo de deportistas discapacitados pertenecientes al club deportivo Montañas sin barreras. La expedición tratará de culminar su cima, la sexta más alta del mundo con 8.201 metros de altitud, situada en plena cordillera del Himalaya en la frontera entre Tíbet y Nepal.

La expedición, que partió de Madrid a principios de abril, está impulsada por la Fundación Deporte Joven y por la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid y la componen dos alpinistas con amputación de mano, otros dos con discapacidad visual y auditiva, y una persona totalmente ciega. Un equipo del programa Al filo de lo imposible se desplazará al lugar y estará presente en la coronación de este reto deportivo.

Con esta iniciativa, la compañía italiana Fulgor fundada en 1949 por el milanés Piero Puricelli, y una de las mayores suministradoras de electrodomésticos de cocina para las más importantes empresas del sector en todo el mundo, se une al compromiso con la integración y el deporte  que impulsan estas instituciones.
