Formica Group colabora en la Casa dels Xuklis

Formica Group participa en tres espacios singulares de la La Casa dels Xuklis ha sido concebida para acoger a los familiares de niños enfermos de cáncer que deben seguir tratamientos continuados en Barcelona. Su interior ha sido diseñado por el estudio MBM.

La Casa dels Xuklis, de casi 2.000 m2 de superficie y diseñada por el estudio de arquitectura y urbanismo MBM (Martorell, Bohigas y MacKay), ocupa cuatro pabellones que representan las cuatro estaciones del año. El edificio acoge un total de 25 apartamentos de 30 metros cuadrados cada uno. Todos ellos están situados en una planta baja orientada al jardín y están equipados con camas individuales, un sofá-cama, un baño con ducha, y una pequeña terraza que se comunica directamente con el jardín y que sirve de sala de estar.

Cada uno de los apartamentos ha sido decorado por un interiorista o equipo de interioristas de prestigio, primando el bienestar y confort de las familias. La aportación de Formica Group se concreta en los apartamentos realizados por Pomadec (Rosana Sánchez) y MetroKubik (Agata Samons), así como la sala de juegos diseñada por alumnos del área de Design del Istituto Europeo di Design de Barcelona.

El apartamento diseñado por Pomadec destaca por su estilo naif e incluye un ingenioso empleo del laminado Formica Artwork con ilustraciones que aparecen reflejadas en los cabeceros de las camas, así como en diversas composiciones que decoran la estancia y que han sido diseñadas para la ocasión por la propia interiorista. Por su parte, MetroKubik apuesta por la combinación de colores brillantes inspirados en el juego del parchís (azul, rojo, verde y amarillo), utilizando en sus paredes el laminado Formica HPL en acabado brillo, AR Plus y Microdot . Por último, el IED Barcelona recurre a la gama Formica Colors para recubrir el original mobiliario de la sala de juegos, lleno de colorido y formas geométricas.
