Formica Group y Fundación Aladina colaboran con el artista Okuda San Miguel en el Hospital Gregorio Marañón de Madrid.

28.05.2018 Formica Group, Fundación Aladina e Ink and Movement (iam) vuelven a unir fuerzas en un proyecto solidario en Madrid. En esta ocasión se trata de la colaboración que han hecho en el proyecto emprendido por el Hospital Gregorio Marañón para la nueva unidad para adolescentes oncológicos.

Formica Group, Fundación Aladina e Ink and Movement han cedido e instalado los laminados decorativos que revisten las paredes de esta unidad con los espectaculares murales realizados por el artista Okuda San Miguel. Esta iniciativa pretende mejorar el bienestar de los adolescentes y sus familiares durante su estancia en el hospital, aportando un espacio más acogedor, lleno de color. El proyecto sigue la estela de la renovación de la UCIP y zonas adyacentes del Hospital Clínico San Carlos de Madrid en 2017, realizada también por Formica Group junto a Fundación Aladina y el propio Okuda.

Murales en paneles Younique

La obra de Okuda digitalizada en paneles Younique de Formica Group se distribuye en múltiples murales a lo largo de los más de 100 m2 de la nueva planta del Hospital Gregorio Marañón, e incluye los característicos diseños, estructuras geométricas y estampados multicolores del artista, que ha querido plasmar en este espacio la parte más infantil y positiva de mis creaciones, para transformarlo emocionalmente y darle una nueva energía que contribuya al bienestar de todos los que pasan por él. En este caso hemos querido aportar un lado más pop con la introducción de estampados y la Kaos Star, uno de mis iconos con el que doy valor a una forma distinta de hacer las cosas. Los murales configuran un singular espacio del que ya disfrutan tanto pacientes y familiares como el propio personal médico del centro.

Tal y como afirma Gema Bonilla, directora de Marketing de Formica Group para el Sur de Europa: Entre otras muchas aplicaciones, nuestros laminados y paneles son frecuentemente instalados en centros hospitalarios, al ser productos de cuidado diseño y máxima durabilidad, aspectos esenciales en espacios de alto tránsito como son estos. En este proyecto, y a través de nuestro servicio de digitalización, convertimos las creaciones de Okuda en laminados de alta presión Younique, creando un espacio único de color y arte dentro del Gregorio Marañón.

Lorena Díez, directora de Hospitales de Fundación Aladina añade como este proyecto va a mejorar la calidad de vida de los adolescentes oncológicos hospitalizados. Aladina se ocupa de humanizar los hospitales, haciendo que las estancias de los pacientes oncológicos y sus familias sean lo más reconfortantes,que se olviden que están en un hospital y se sientan como en casa.
