El laminado de alta presión de Formica ha protagonizado por partida doble la Semana de la Moda de Londres y 100% Design a través de una original colección de sombreros confeccionados con este material.

La reconocida firma Basso y Brooke, en colaboración con el célebre sombrerero Stephen Jones, ha presentado en la pasarela d la Semana de la Moda de Londres una original colección de sombreros confeccionados con laminados de alta presión Formica.

La colección toma como base los acabados de Formica Velour, Microdot y Naturelle, que aportan a las piezas de sombrerería tonos mates, atractivas texturas y maderas aterciopeladas, respectivamente.

“Durante tiempo hemos estado fascinados por las propiedades e ilimitadas posibilidades que ofrece el laminado Formica, lo que nos ha llevado a analizar de que manera poder incorporarlo a muestro trabajo”, afirmó Chris Brooke de Basso & Brooke con motivo del desfile.

Parte de esta colección de sombreros ha sido también exhibida en la última edición de 100% Design, la exposición anual de diseño contemporáneo más importante del Reino Unido.
