Fallece José Longás, ex consejero delegado de BSH España

José Longás.

José Longás, el que fuera Consejero Delegado de BSH España hasta 2017, falleció ayer en Zaragoza, a los 69 años, tras una enfermedad.

Uno de los dirigentes de la filial española de BSH más respetados y admirados, Longás era actualmente consejero de las firmas aragonesas Henneo y Saica.

José Longás era ingeniero industrial de formación y tuvo un papel destacado en la reconversión de Balay antes de que la empresa española entrara a formar parte del grupo alemán BSH en 1989. El año 2000 pasó a dirigir la filial española de BSH, sustituyendo a Fernando Gil Martínez, a cuyo hijo, Fernando Gil Bayona, cedió la máxima responsabilidad de la empresa en 2017 tras su jubilación.

Bajo el mandato de José Longás, BSH reforzó su liderazgo en el mercado español de electrodomésticos y situó a la filial española como uno de los puntales del grupo a nivel europeo. Asimismo, Pepe Longás también contribuyó a potenciar la actividad de I+D+i a nivel nacional y la formación dual dentro de la compañía.

Persona cultivada, seria y afable, Longás que también fue presidente de ANFEL, la Asociación Nacional de Fabricantes de Electrodomésticos, se mostró siempre como un firme defensor de la industria como pilar del negocio.

Además de un gran profesional y un excelente gestor, con la muerte de José Longás se va una persona admirable. Estaba casado y tenía dos hijos y dos nietos. Desde COCINA INTEGRAL lamentamos profundamente la pérdida de Pepe Longás y nos unimos al dolor de su familiares y compañeros de BSH.
