El empresario Alejandro Rosales Expósito, presidente y fundador de Alvic, ha fallecido en Marbella a la edad de 77 años.

02.09.2019 Alejandro Rosales Expósito, presidente y fundador de Alvic, ha fallecido a los 77 años de edad en Marbella, tal como informan diversos medios, entre ellos el Diario de Jaén y ABC Sevilla. Su vida estuvo caracterizada por la superación personal. Muy joven, emigró a Cataluña desde su Alcaudete natal, concretamente a Vic (Barcelona), donde fundó un pequeño taller de carpintería que más tarde se centró en el concepto de mueble modular y en kit. En 1965 nació Alvic, y Rosales regresó a Alcaudete en 1982.

Traspasando fronteras

El grupo empresarial cuenta con tres factorías, en Vic (Barcelona), La Carolina y Alcaudete (Jaén), además de tres plantas internacionales. En estos momentos, cuenta con 980 empleados y tiene presencia comercial en 97 países.

La empresa familiar está dirigida ya por la segunda generación, los hijos de Alejandro Rosales: Javier, Carlos y Alejandro.

El empresario había sido reconocido con el Medalla de Oro de la Villa de Alcaudete, y da nombre a una calle en el municipio.
