Fagor introduce en el cajón portaverduras de su gama de frío el dispensador de humedad SPA, mejorando sustancialmente las condiciones de conservación requeridas para este tipo de alimentos.

El humidificador Spa de Fagor no sólo permite alargar la vida de frutas y verduras, sino que además, conserva intactas vitaminas y minerales durante más tiempo (tres veces más).
 
Los beneficios del sistema SPA han quedado patentes a través de ensayos comparativos realizados con aparatos que carecían de humidificador y en los que se ha medido la evolución del deterioro de frutas y vegetales durante un periodo de 10 días.
 
Los resultados obtenidos permiten afirmar que la función SPA incorporada en los frigoríficos de Fagor consigue un 5% más de humedad en el portaverduras y reduce la pérdida del agua de los vegetales almacenados en este recinto en un 2%. Además, los alimentos presentan un mejor aspecto (más fresco), frente a los conservados en recintos exentos de esta tecnología.
 
En el caso de las frutas, el estudio también dio como resultado que el índice de refracción, que indica la concentración de azúcares en la fruta para valorar su grado de madurez, indicó que las frutas almacenadas en el recinto con SPA de Fagor mantienen durante más tiempo el grado de madurez óptimo.
