El Basque Ecodesign Center, liderado por el Gobierno Vasco, constituye la única entidad de estas características en España y en el sur de Europa, convirtiéndose en el segundo referente de Ecodiseño de toda la UE.

Fagor ha decidido formar parte del Polo de Ecodiseño (Basque Ecodesign Center) como apuesta de futuro. Formando parte de este gran proyecto, Fagor Group se enfrenta a tres grandes retos: apostar por estrategias de innovación enfocadas de manera multidimensional, reduciendo el impacto ambiental y disminuyendo costes en cada una de las etapas del ciclo de vida de los productos, impulsar el empleo relacionado con el medio ambiente, así como identificar y evaluar posibles nuevos modelos de negocio.

Según Fabián Bilbao, Director General de Línea Blanca: Formar parte del Polo de Ecodiseño es para nosotros una gran oportunidad de posicionarnos entre las compañías de vanguardia en el ámbito del ecodiseño, así como de compartir nuestro conocimiento y experiencia en este ámbito.
