La Agencia de Innovación y Desarrollo de Andalucía (IDEA), organismo adscrito a la Consejería de Economía, Conocimiento, Empresas y Universidad, ha aprobado para este proyecto una ayuda de 60.200 euros. Se trata de una subvención cofinanciada con Fondos Europeos de Desarrollo Regional (Feder) enmarcada en el programa para el Desarrollo Industrial, la Mejora de la Competitividad, la Transformación Digital y la Creación de Empleo 2017-2020.

Esta aplacadora unilateral de cantos tiene dos sistemas de encolado. Uno de ellos está preparado para cola adhesiva PUR, que hace que la junta entre la superficie plana de la puerta y el canto sea más reducida. El otro, el encolado por aire caliente, no utiliza ningún tipo de cola adhesiva, sino que realiza el pegado del canto mediante fusión por calor. Así, el sellado es casi imperceptible.

Actualmente, Modul Cuin distribuye el 70% de los muebles de cocina que fabrica a promotores de viviendas. Su mercado principal en el sector de la construcción está en Cataluña, Islas Baleares y Madrid. El 30% restante de los muebles de cocina se vende a clientes particulares, principalmente de Andalucía. Ahora, la empresa pretende expandir su mercado en la construcción fuera de Cataluña; de hecho, ya tiene compromisos con clientes de Málaga, donde se está trabajando en distintas promociones en la Costa del Sol. El objetivo estratégico de la empresa a nivel comercial es que el 60% de las ventas de la empresa estén localizadas fuera de esa comunidad autónoma. De este porcentaje, la mitad debería situarse en Madrid y el otro 50% en Andalucía, fundamentalmente en la Costa del Sol. También tiene previsto abrir una tienda y un showroom en el centro de Madrid.
