ERE de extinción para Edesa Industrial

La imposibilidad de poder utilizar la marca Fagor ha llevado a Edesa Industrial a presentar un ERE de extinción sobre la unidad productiva de la empresa que afecta a unas 160 personas.

09.01.2018 Con esta medida, se va a pique la última gran esperanza de reflotar Edesa Industrial de la mano del fabricante polaco de electrodomésticos Amica, que se había comprometido a inyectar cerca de 27 millones de euros a cambio, entre otras cosas, de poder seguir utilizando la marca Fagor.

Los trabajadores culpan a la dirección de la empresa por su mala gestión, mientras que desde la compañía lamentan que no haya prosperado la propuesta anticipada de convenio presentada a mediados de diciembre pasado y que implicaba a Amica como adquiriente de la unidad productiva de línea blanca de Edesa Industrial.

La marca Fagor, clave

Recordemos que Fagor Sociedad Cooperativa, perteneciente a Corporación Mondragón, tiene presentada una demanda para rescindir el contrato a Edesa Industrial sobre la utilización de la marca Fagor, por un presunto incumplimiento por parte de Edesa en lo relativo a sus obligaciones sobre el uso y posicionamiento de la marca, mantenimiento del empleo y pagos.

Por el momento, el ERE no afecta a una docena de trabajadores de la parte comercial, administrativa y logística.
